Steve Kloves Apologizes for Sympathies, Adjusts Quote Adapting Famed Author's Work

In a press conference at 9 AM on 10/29/25, screenwriter Steve Kloves apologized to the cast of "Mean Girls" when he quoted a line from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Pt 2" referencing an intimate conversation between Severus Snape and Lily Potter (oops, spoiler, if you haven't seen it well...not every Stephen will be so keen on that we'll just pretend they end up together)...

"She's jealous. She's ordinary, and you're special."

"That's mean, Severus."

To which Tina Fey got all triggered and mad over a misgender and said, "It's not a self-esteem issue, Lily's pretty pleased with herself."

We apologize for any narcissism intruding on any trans spaces. It won't happen again and we will do better by the marginalized.
